With a head heavy in thought and missing home more and more Beth trudged through the halls, nearly tripping over her feet on several occasion and apologizing far to many times to no one in particular. Finally stepping into her small dorm room Beth set her books down and yawned, running her hand along the back of her neck. It'd been too long of a day already and as she watched the rain fall earlier, trapped behind a glass window pane at work she wished nothing more than to be emmersed in the free falling rain.
Stretching out upon her bed Beth stole a quick nap before rising only a mater of minutes later, with a heavy sigh she thought of the dog she'd spoken with the day before, oddly enough it seemed to be the best conversation she'd had since arriving at Alden University. That thought could be taken a number of ways, she could either be the strange girl who has one sided conversations with a dog, or she could be the kind hearted person who just adored animals, either way she did not care too much what the world thought of her. The nameless pup had put her at peace and allowed her to speak openly about a range of things. Still, it might not be too healthy to form a friendship with a dog, so fighting the urge to continue with her nap Beth rose to her feet, changed out of her work attire, slipping into a simple pair of jeans, black tank top, and a pink zip hoodie.
Finding a pair of sandals under her bed Beth decided to take a walk outdoors, she never was one to be a couch potato or lounge around indoors for too long, the great outdoors and nature always called to her. She often times enjoyed exploring and Alden campus had much to offer in the area of exploration and history. Wandering along she passed by a girl laughing and giggling barefoot in the wet grass and she smiled to herself, intrigued by the color of the girl's hair. Standing there for a bit Beth watched her, taking a seat on a nearby bench, it wasn't proper to watch another person but there was something aout this girl that was so fascinating, a peace resonating from her when she played in the grass. It was almost like watching a child discovering something for the first time, it was inspiring, and once again Beth smiled.
