Kat simply shrugged. She had no idea of the timeframe, but she did know that, within her lifetime, things had been moving rather quickly in that direction. Still, it would probably be quite awhile until it was a total change, so she had to give the other woman that. "It'll be a sad day when it happens," she commented, and then they both wandered off to do their own things.
Kat had been enjoying herself quite thoroughly as Isabelle picked out her books. She was leaning against one of the shelves, completely absorbed in a book. Her eyes shone when she looked up, and she was actually smiling a little, which was rather rare for her. She really did like books.
"No, thank you, I'm fine." She carefully reshelved the book where she'd found it, and then glanced around. "I think I'm going to end up spending quite a bit of time here." She paused, not sure if they were done here or what. "Where are you going now?" A bit blunt, maybe, but it at least gave Isabelle a chance to say if she wanted Kat along anymore. She had, after all, given the tour she'd promised.
