"There are already computers, and while books may become obsolete, I don't think the library will ever get rid of them. Too many people enjoy reading regular old books to get rid of them completely." She headed for the stairs that led to the second floor. There was an open space where the reception desk and reading area was, that went all the way up all the stories. A railing, ornately carved and dark with age, lined the floors near the opening so that one could look out from any level and look down at the lobby and anyone standing in the lobby could look up and see the hundreds of bookshelves filled with books.
She moved up the winding staircase to the second floor and gestured. "Obviously, the books are arranged alphabetically by author and by genre. Non-Fiction on the lower levels, Fiction on the upper levels. The art books are just down here. You don't mind if I grab a few, do you?" She pointed to a set of bookcases and began to edge in that direction.
