She met Kat's gaze, appreciating the way that she admired the library. Isabelle wasn't as literary as she was artistic, but the sheer amount of art books they had here had won her over long ago. It was good to see it working its magic on someone else.
She nodded and then turned toward the big reception area where three librarians sat to answer questions and check books out. She gestured to it, her voice low as she spoke. "This is where you check out the books. These people know every nook and crannie of this place so they'll be able to help you if you ever can't find anything. I'm pretty sure they can order something if they don't have it, too."
She gestured toward the large sitting area. There were many chairs with soft cushions and low tables scattered around in a seemingly haphazard way where one could sit alone or in groups if necessary. There were also long tables at the ends of the corridors between bookshelves where students could sit and do homework or study. "The sitting area." She walked through the sitting area to the other side where the first of the big bookshelves were.
"The periodicals and reference books are on the first floor." She pointed to some large rooms behind the bookshelves. "Those are computer rooms and media rooms for presentations." Isabelle had used such rooms herself for giving slideshows of different pieces of art, or watching videos on different techniques."
