Alissa blushed brightly when Britta whistled at her. Turning to look at the nymph for a moment, she couldn't help admiring her. She was still too shy to say anything about it, though, and she was thankful that the trees obscured the pond's view from the nearby condominium complex just on the other side of the road.
The ground was rough under her bare feet, but she definitely enjoyed the feeling of freedom she'd been experiencing. Elves were definitely natural creatures, she noted to herself as they reached the top with minimal effort. Getting down was going to be the fun part.
Normally, she slid down sideways, making a bit of an acrobatic spectacle of it, but today she thought she might sing them some stairs to compensate for the lack of traction in the mud. There was no waterfall at their destination, but the place looked out very nicely over the pond. The water shined in the sunlight, and Alissa smiled.
