Britta tilted her head slightly, furrowing her brow as she tried to think of the place Alissa was describing. "I don't know if I've been there. Is it a public place?" Not that that would necessarily stop her from trying to go there, but it was polite to ask nevertheless.
Britta led the way toward the counter and ordered herself a carton of lo mein and then stepped aside to allow Alissa to order her own food. They dished the lo mein out of the silver trays and handed it over the glass partition to her. She took it, grabbed a pair of disposable chopsticks and moved toward a table to wait for Alissa.
