The girl was friendly, Autumn had to give her that. She tried to sort through the questions that had been rapid-fired at her, though she started with one of her own. "How did you know I was a vampire?" She guessed it didn't really matter, only that it added to her delusion that no one could be trusted around her. "I can eat. It won't keep me alive, but I could eat it if I wanted to." She paused. "I'm not sure what's around here either." Though with the student population, there had to be someplace that catered to all species.
Not that it would be the same as catching a young buck in through the trees, hearing the heartbeat, biting the flesh . . .
"Bowling?" she said, snapping out of her fantasy. "Uh . . ." No, was the answer, but she kept it to herself. She'd been bad at the "sport," barely able to lift the balls with her scrawny arms. Things were different now. "Sure."
