He listened to her words and finally swallowed, his own words perhaps the last words that she expected. "Is that how you will justify it?" Desmond said, slowly rising from his feet on slightly shakey feet. He took his duster in his hands as he did so, and tossed it lightly back at her. She would need it to cover up, and even in this, a part of Desmond was still a gentleman, even though the look that was on his features was anything but gentle as he turned to look at her, staring at her accusingly. "That it was something that you just needed? Do you have any idea... any idea at all what you did?" Desmond said, grimacing slightly as he looked at her, his bright blue eyes now more like a cold ice than the warm sky that they usually looked to be.
"Blood is like... a drug... an addiction that vampires never get over. I have tried to explain that to you, but you just refuse to understand!" Desmond growled, his voice getting dark as he looked at her. "Do you realize that I had no control over anything that just happened? Is it not the case that plying a woman's modesty with alcohol is considered reprehensible in this time? Do you not truly not see that what you did was not making love but instead a violation?" The last words was said with such pain and disgust that it would easily drive like a dagger into her heart. Desmond closed his eyes and shook his head lightly, feeling the rage boil up inside of him like poison, clouding everything good that he felt.
"If you were anyone but who you are, I would kill you for this." he said with an air of conviction that left no doubt of the truth of his words. Shivering again, he just turned, and started walking from her, unable to even look back at her like this... The blood in her system would heal the wounds that he had caused, though he did not know if it would heal her shattered virginity... but nothing, it felt like could heal the hole that she'd just left in his chest...
