The comments about this Bieber guy made her curious about the last time she had listened to music. For awhile, she had listened to a lot of classical music. It only seemed to fit her day dreams and her thoughts of Desmond when he came around. And it made sense to her that she would stop listening to it now that she was trying to get her mind off of him. She did wonder, however, if he did for her what he had done for Beth. Was he watching over her? Was he in the shadows now wondering whether he should intervene and make her stop before she got herself into a horribly precarious situation?
She looked out into the surrounding darkness. There were plenty of places to hide and it wasn't like the dhampir would exactly need somewhere special to stay hidden. He could do that any time he decided he wanted to. What caught her off guard was her feelings about it, if he were out there, that is. If he was, would she like it? Would she feel protected? No. Turns out the thought of him in the shadows keeping a watchful eye on her only angered her. How could he say he didn't want to hurt her when the whole push away thing was what broke her? If he was watching her like he watched Beth, she felt like she would scream.
She was not Beth, and she didn't want to be treated like her. Raina knew well that she could take care of herself. The last thing she wanted to be seen as was a girl who couldn't take handle herself. She was hardly a farm girl. With that pushing through her, she decided to (at least for one night) stop feeling sorry for herself. Even if it didn't change anything inside, at least the world wouldn't look at her like she was completely dead.
Picking at a blade of grass beside her, she smirked, "I uh, kind of love the Terminator movies. That probably makes me completely lame but T2 is probably one of my favorite movies." Among other less cool titles, of course. She was, after all, a girl and as such entitled to liking sappy romantic comedies. He mentioned not wanting to talk about that Suzy person so she just nodded. Raina wasn't about to pry into something that was none of her business, especially if the person who's business it really was didn't want to talk about it.
Leaning over, Raina covered her face in his shoulder when he laughed out loud and cursed. The blush just darkened a little and she shook her head, "I couldn't just--curse out loud like that. What if someone heard me?"
It was nice to listen to him talking though because he was completely honest. Raina nodded, pink strands falling in front of her face. "Well I don't know about legend status but I do know who you are before meeting you. Most of the girls I have class with are always talking about how--well," Stop being a prude, Raina. Grow up, she hissed at herself. She decided to take a page out of his book and be completely honest. "how curious they are about how--big--you may be." She perked a brow and then looked back at her knees and picked some dirt from the front of her skirt. "Maybe you are more of a legend then I thought."
Raina thanked him when he said she was hot and what he'd like her to be doing. Blushing again, she shook her head, "I'm uh--not exactly experienced in that area. Like, at all."
There were many things that old Raina would do right now. She would have probably been a little prude about the things that he said. She would have probably giggled and walked away, shaking her ass a little because she really did like the attention, even if she hadn't found someone she wanted to give her virginity to. And that was one of the biggest things that had changed about her lately. Biting her bottom lip, she held her hand out for the bottle and decided to just go for it. "Considering that your reputation precedes you, I'm pretty sure if I pick dare, you'll somehow get me out of my shirt so at least until I'm a little more wasted, let's go with truth." That may not have been the best choice either though.
