"You know that I do, Jenny, but right now we have so many hormones rushing through our system we're practically crazed with them. Doing that... it's such a big thing... I... I don't know that either of us are ready for it..." he didn't say what he had been thinking about for a while now, the fact that Jenny's mother was never really there for her, and her dad had run out on her. Stastically speaking, it didn't lead to healthy relationships, in fact, it often lead one to try to do anything for attention, more than what should be done. "Besides, my parents could be home at any minute..." Jack lied, and frowned as Jenny shot him the look that showed she knew it was a lie.
"Here, I want to show you something..." he said, slipping out from underneath her to move to a computer that he had set up on a metal plate near one of the sides of his room. He plugged it in and listened to it hum as it started up, and then paused for a minute, before starting to print out huge numbers on the screen, one after the other, each seperated by a comma. Gabriel looked at her expectantly.
"What... is it?" she asked, tilting her head.
"Those are Mersenne Prime numbers." Gabriel said with a bright smile. Which of course faded when she looked at him as if he were an alien. "No, you don't understand, those numbers that it is calculating, people use hundreds of machines in order to figure out how to calculate out those numbers. I've been able to rig together some hardware though, and I'm not sure what it is about the setup that makes it that way, but it computes at a rate of billions of times faster than it should... the only problem is..."
As if on cue suddenly the computer started to spark and Gabriel leaned over to flick a light switch with a sigh. He had done this several times, and it eventually would fry itself to the point where smoke came out... that certainly wasn't the most romantic thing in the world. "I don't know why, no matter how many times I run the heat distribution calculations there's just something about it that's... unstable..."
Gabriel paused though and looked at Jenny as he felt the familiar click-click-click of a zipper being undone... namely his. "You're so sexy when you're a brainy smurf..." Jenny whispered heatedly as she began to touch him in a way that she never had before... "Now... maybe I can get you to think about my proposal one more time...."
There were a series of moans and groans that came from Jack's bed right before his eyes flew open and he stared at the massive tent in his sheets, pausing for a moment before slamming his head back against the pillow several times, then pulling it over his face. "ugh... Jack... you did not just have a fucking sex dream about your dead high school girlfriend..." he muttered, hugging the pillow all that much tighter for a moment before pulling himself up out of bed, seeing things start to deflate from the shame of it all already.
