Adrian had gotten to Alden just in time for classes. He liked to cut it close so it would not look like he looked forward to going. He didn't want his mother or his siblings thinking he was happy there, it would ruin the image his family had of him. He actually liked Alden very much. There were only a few humans here to ruin his mood, and so many young ladies from all walks of life to win over. So many challenges that he was never really board here like he was back home.
So far he had not really spoken to anyone, except to go to class and such. He had been meaning to contact some of his friends, but he was enjoying the alone time too much to bother just yet. It was Friday, a day on which he had no classes. He liked to go to the music building on Fridays and play in one of the empty rooms to practice and perfect his playing without being disturbed.
He checked the listing on the outside of the door to make sure there would be no more classes in that room for the day and went inside. Adrian settled his violin case on a table and smiled when he opened it and saw one of his best friends once again. He brushed his hand over the instrument lovingly before he pulled it out and settled it in place under his chin.
Adrian closed his eyes and started to play, he enjoyed playing from the heart when there was no one to listen or mock him. He hated playing other's notes more then anything, to him it was like speaking another person's words. Today he was in a good mood as he played, and that was reflected in the harmony that came from the instrument in his hands. Really only Adrian would call the music he played anything less then perfection, but he was hard on himself, and noted each flat sound in his head for something to improve upon.
