A newfound heat raced through her body, a yearning for more, and the vision before her became all too real. Behind the confines of her mind she watched as he drew the blood clean from her fingertips, the feeling of desire in remaining so perfectly still. He left her feeling as though she were weightless, her thoughts dripping with a sinful, euphoric, and heavenly edge to them.
This was the moment that he'd lifted her into his arms and made hast for her dorm room, lying her back upon her bed.
Beth continued to dream, images moving quicker than she could reason, ever changing and starting anew while Desmond's blood pressed onward in its pursuit to heal her. She tossed and turned, uncoiled and recoiled in her restless sleep. She imagined the argument previously had with Danny, she imagined it taking place face to face rather than over the phone, his words stinging like a blistering shock to the system and her heart raced in her chest. Quickly she ran from him, heart aching, and pounding away in her chest and ran to Desmond, crying and recounting the pained experience while her heart continued it's quickened pace. He took her in his arms, so warm and stable, so protective as he'd always promised to be for her and as she tilted her face towards him he bent his features to match. The kiss experienced set her heart a fire, passion coursing through her like never before.
With fingertips dancing along bare skin, tracing imaginary lines and drinking every inch in, this was his blood, strong and coursing through her veins. As it reached her heart there was an explosion within her, he was a part of her now, even in her heart and there was no going back or denying.
As she turned over atop the sheets her lips parted long enough for a contented sigh to be faintly heard. The girl who would have fought against such encounters in reality was uncontrollably giving into the urges and callings of the man before her in her dreams. She was dizzy with his affection and enjoying herself far more than she ever wished to admit.
