Henry shifted his gaze to Finn as he spoke up, the twinkle in his eyes not abating at the man's friendly defiance. He made no mention of the offense since Isabelle was so quick to stand and toss a jab his way. A smile actually broke over his features at that. Finn and Isabelle seemed to share a friendly rivalry of whose origins he was in the dark. But as long as it remained friendly and not violent, Henry was fine with it.
"I am quite certain Ms. Morgan will be a capable instructor in Paranormal Diversity, Finnbheara." He turned his twinkling blue eyes on Nicola, trying to assuage any insecurities his words might have caused. His eyes then turned to Gideon as he stood and introduced himself. Henry genuinely liked Gideon. He was a hard worker and a dedicated teacher. Septimus, on the other hand was a hard worker, but his dedication to his students left much to be desired.
The dean smiled and nodded at Meda as the proper introductions were made. She was a very traditional woman and he could appreciate that in her. And then Nicola stood and gave her own introduction and he knew she would do just fine when she came up against Finn all on her own.
As the introductions wound down, the Dean looked at the array of professors under his supervision. "Rush week begins in two weeks. This is the time when students are chosen for fraternities and sororities and join the various clubs on campus. The Student Association has planned several activities as well." He continued on, talking about the activities planned for the month. "Are there any concerns or issues you foresee this semester?"
