Finn didn't stand, but he looked down the long table at the two women. He was always one to notice the ladies in any gathering, but that wasn't his objective today... or at least not his only objective. Meda - that was the small asian woman - had the definite glow of the supernatural about her, but the other one - Nicola, it was - Finn would be surprised as hell if she wasn't a genuine human.
He gave the Dean a sideways smile, cocky as anything. Henry wasn't likely to hold it against him. Finn said to Nicola, "Appreciating Paranormal Diversity, was it?" And to Henry, "Throwing her to the wolves on her first day?" It was said with good humour, but he wasn't entirely joking. APD was the crash course for human and supernatural students alike. For a human to be in the driver's seat, well... he would be interested to know if she'd volunteered or if the Dean had placed her. He certainly wouldn't want the job.
Finn smiled charmingly at the woman who was doing a very good job concealing the little bit of concern his comment had drawn up. "Don't take me too seriously," he said. "There haven't been any deaths in... oh, ages."
To her and to the other woman, he said, "Happy to be working with you both."
