The question of a broken neck made her laugh. "Uh, duh?" she asked, giving him a quizzical expression. "Who hasn't these days?" It was debatable whether or not she was actually thinking about broken necks, or if her thoughts had wandered off into oblivion. That tended to happen with her. "I've had a broken everything, and it always comes back together." Didn't he know the first thing about vampires? She thought they were really popular now, what with those movies about the awkward children not-getting-laid and all.
As he put on his helmet, she straightened up in anticipation. Her face lit with excitement, making her look much like a dog getting ready to go on a walk. When she realized what he was saying, though, she slumped. Sulking like a child, she kicked at a rock while still sitting on the majestic bike.
"Vampires are invincible," she grumbled, giving him a pathetic pout. "We don't need helmets! I'm not gonna get hurt, okay? I've done a lot worse than fall off a bike, believe me! I'll just sit in the back and be totally quiet and you won't even hear anything from me cause I'll be so quiet." Clapping a hand over her mouth as if in proof, she stared at him through her dark glasses.
She moved her fingers just slightly so that she could speak, squeaking out the Magic Word. "Please?"
