By the time a confused little brunette arrived, Carly had been sitting on the bike for a full hour at least. She amused herself by flicking pebbles at nearby trees, some of them bouncing off to scratch nearby cars. Oops. When she wasn't wantonly destroying private property, she was texting her closest non-angel friend, Finn, about these new developments in her personal life. He couldn't be bothered to offer more than one line of advice: take the damn bike and run. Unfortunately, Yanagi protested, and so Carly sat.
She looked up as the first human-looking creature she had seen in that hour arrived. Still sitting on the bike, she watched the boy for a few moments. He was obviously young - everything in his face screamed youth. Even young-looking vampires didn't look like this kid. He was hesitant and cautious, staring at her with a knit brow and all the follies of youngsterhood written across his face.
"This your bike?" she called out to him, bouncing on the seat slightly. "I like it." She grinned, flashing a mouth of crooked fangs. "You going somewhere? Can I come?"
