Marie’s laughter sounded like bells skittering along the surface of the water, to Whip; he wondered if all selkies sounded like that, when they laughed. The young pixie hadn’t really met many selkies; all in all this made the total selkies met so far, one. However, he decided that he quite liked the sealskin wearing paranormals.
Whipper smiled and zoomed into the air, spiraling in circles, “YES! Vivid colors and sunshiny! I love it and YOU are wearing the crown of all of faery and I am you lucky escort!”. When he landed and she kissed him on the forehead, the slender pixie blushed and dramatically fell flat on his back. “Saints preserve me! I’ve been slain with the kiss of a goddess!!”, he crooned.
Hearing Marie say that she was a swimmer and not a flyer, Whip flew up off of the ground and landed in front of the beautiful, blue-eyed selkie, “I see…”, he replied, tapping his chin with a slender forefinger, “…but I fly and I also swim. Hardly seems fair, now, does it?”. He grinned like a possum and sprinkled her with pixie dust, “Think of happy thoughts and Tinker Bell and chocolate chip cookies”, he advised, as he took her hand and they rose into the air. As they ascended above the tree-line, Whip slid his arm around Marie’s waist, “I was only teasing about all of that think about good things stuff! You will fly no matter what you think about”, he grinned and winked, “The dust is the thing!”.
Hovering in the air for a moment, Whip looked over into Marie’s enchanting eyes and asked, “Where to, lovely one? The restaurant or would you like to stop at your residence first?”. Up close, Whip’s sapphire-blue eyes sparkled with a jewel-like quality; he continued looking the sweet selkie in the eyes until he remembered that most people were uncomfortable with that. “Oh, sorry for the eyeballin’, Marie”.
