“Restaurant it is, Loverly lady”, Whip sang out, as he turned slightly to the northwest and pulled her more snuggly against him. “I’m glad my eyes don’t bother you, Marie, because I’d be sore troubled trying to keep them offa you”, he admitted with a soft smile.

It was no time at all until they were flying over the town of Manchester, “Brace yerself, darlin’, I believe that’s South Willow street just below”, Whip warned. Very gently, he turned her until they were vertical to the ground and ready for their descent. Out of consideration for Marie, a water spirit, Whip made their landing as slow and gradual as possible.

The landing earned Marie a soft kiss on the cheek from Whip, “You are a brilliant flier for a selkie, Marie. Just brilliant!”. Seeming to have settled down a bit, the handsome pixie offered Marie his arm as they entered Yuki’s Asian Grill; the restaurant was large, with lot’s of natural wood and a fireplace. Whip held the chair for Marie and then seated himself, “Please order anything you like. I’m treating”.
