Whip was almost too much to take. The shy selkie was having a hard time keeping up with his train of thought and he seemed to have boundless energy. She neither understood where he came up with it, nor how it lasted so long. Since she'd met him he'd been nothing but giggly and playful and she wondered if there were any other side to him. She liked this side, but she could see where it might get tiresome after a while. He would wear anyone out, she was sure of it.
She laughed good naturedly when he fell onto the grass in a feigned faint. She covered her mouth and shook her head slightly. He was so different from her, she was not yet sure what to make of him. Was this an act, or was this his true nature?
He sprinkled her with pixie dust and she rose into the air. It was lucky he was holding onto her because she felt a burst of panic rush through her at the idea of being so high up in the air with no means of controlling where she went. She had never flown before and doing so now was vastly unnerving.
"R...restaurant." She could hardly think. Moving through the air was such a different experience that she didn't have room in her brain for any other focus at the moment. She was looking down at the ground, probably the most colossal mistake she could have made. But when she glanced up, Whip was there, watching her. He had reassuring eyes and she found that looking into them was much better than looking at the ground.
