Dhivael had already taken it upon herself to meet her future professors. Understandably, she had begun with one Professor Gideon Whyte because he would be teaching the bulk of her courses due to her Anthropology major. She had successfully visited all of her professors save for one. One course was mandatory for her to take because it was her first year at Alden: Appreciating Paranormal Diversity.
While the course was not a high priority, the Rihan felt she understood its purpose. It was no secret that Dean Alden supported humans and supernatural beings living together in peace. As humans beginning their college careers at Alden, the class would be a good way for them to gain a better understanding of those supernatural beings they had likely been raised to fear. As a supernatural being taking the class, it was a good way to understand those life forms that they may or may not have encountered. After all, not all supernatural beings got along with one another. For Dhivael, this course was a good class for her on all levels. What better way to learn about Earthlings than to study their varying species and races?
As usual, the Rihan had done her research on Professor Meda Smith. The woman was a kitsune, and this was her first year teaching at Alden. Of course, the age she discovered about the Professor would lead one to believe that this was likely not her first time teaching in general though it was always a possibility that Dhivael was mistaken. The only way to discover the truth would be to meet her which was what brought the extraterrestrial to the door of the office of the kistune.
Lifting her hand, she knocked on the door as she had twelve days, two hours, seven minutes, and three point five seconds ago. She had already eaten her lunch at precisely twelve o’clock, and she felt the sustenance had energized her sufficiently. Her mind was in top condition, and she was ready to learn what she could from the kitsune who would teach her to appreciate the paranormal diversity of Earth.
