Maya sighed dramatically, “Exactly. That’s part of why a woman’s lips can be more divine though the softness of yours can rival any female’s.” She liked to tease him about things like that. He had to be so macho all of the time that friendly but emasculating jokes were always fun. “Pot certainly tastes better than your cigarettes.” She wouldn’t lie about that. The jinni actually loved marijuana: smell, taste, and effects. It was a not-so-guilty pleasure for her.
She laughed softly. “Oh, the woes of responsibility. It’s a wonder you were even accepted to this school.” She smirked. Maya was an intelligent woman, and she was pretty passionate about what she was learning, but it also came easy to her. It was nothing that required so much studying that she wouldn’t have time to party. Hell, it seemed like she spent more time having fun than she did with her nose in a book. The jinni couldn’t say the same for him. His major seemed more complicated, more demanding.
“Well, then, I guess it won’t take long at all to gather extra things, and party news spreads like nothing else, so that won’t take long at all.” She had plans for drugs, and she was even considering bringing a hookah. Maybe they could set it up in a quieter corner or in another room for people who wanted to relax more than jump around getting drunk. Other than that, there were all sorts of drugs that she could make sure would make an appearance.
“You make it sound like it’s Halloween – which, by the way, deserves its own party. I think Friday the Thirteenth sounds wonderful.” She was already planning in her head the way the set-up would be. Maybe she would sketch the set-up and show him later. She was remarkably good at sketching things to scale, and she’d been in his apartment in the past.
“All right.” She said dismissively when he said he’d have to see about Matt. “If he’s not here, we should go do something.” Maya paused before adding, “Don’t make me wait too long.”
