"Well we both know that I am much better at knowing a compliment when I hear one. Anyway I think I am much too sober for this conversation." She said taking another drink from her glass. She wasn't planning on getting nearly as drunk as she was right now, but she figured the more buzzed she was the more she would be able to understand what he was actually saying to her.
She blinked as she tried to follow his story of why he was drinking so much. How could his father make it so he could never die? Maybe he was a god of some sort, she knew there were demi-gods going to Alden, maybe Jack was one of them. But why would his divine father make it so his son was in so much pain that he had to drink to poisoning just to get drunk? "I can imagine being hit by a car wouldn't feel all that nice at all." She said pretty sure Jack really didn't want her to know any of this. She tried to think of something that would distract him from talking so that he wouldn't hate her in the morning. "Do you like the beach?"
"So you are like someone from the X-men?" She asked as she looked into his eyes, trying to decipher what he was talking about. It was made all the more hard by the fact that she did not get most of the references he was making. She had seen the Star Wars movies so she knew what a Jedi was. She had also seen the X-Men movie, but she wasn't really as clear if that was what he was talking about or not. She finished off her martini, and ate the olive that floated in the glass.
"Yeah." She said then looked down at the $100 bill and frowned. How was she going to pull this off exactly? She decided flirting was her best option. She smiled at the bartender and told him she would take her friend home if they could get another bottle of tequila. He seemed happy to comply as long as it meant he didn't have to serve her friend any more drinks that night. "Lets go back to my place." She said once she had the bottle in hand. She was rather glad she had brought a big purse that night to slip it into. "That way when you pass out I will have a coach right there to catch you."
