Her heart was still slightly racing in her chest and the first thing she could think to do was leave the dorm room. Right now she wanted to feel nature around her, and the warmth of the sun's rays against her skin. She hovered over a familiar white dress she considered wearing. In the dream, she remembered the way it felt clinging to her body. But she decided against letting those thoughts dictate her. As an rebellious statement against that dream, she pulled the dress out and decided to put it on. After grabbing a pair of sandals, she left her room and stepped outside. She went barefoot, but kept the shoes in her hand as she walked out into the vibrant blades of grass. It felt good to be outside.
She walked through University Park without a thought in her mind until she found herself staring at the dark haired man who sat on a bench with wine around him. She considered just walking away. The last time they spoke, she felt she may have made a bit of a fool of herself. But on the same token, she hadn't been able to get Desmond out of her mind. He'd been finding his way into her drawings and now, too, her dreams. Maybe talking to him would be a good way to fill this urge she had to be around him. It was much like the drawings. She had hoped putting his image on paper would sate her wandering thoughts but they hadn't been enough.
She knew she wanted more and at least talking to him might help. So she made her decision and started to walk towards him. She stopped only a few feet away from the bench as she thought how he'd saved her in her dreams. Taking a short breath, Raina spoke in a small voice. "Hey stranger." Slowly she walked a little closer and touched her hand to his shoulder to get his attention. "Do you mind if I join you?" She looked at the empty wine bottle but hadn't known that he could get drunk. She guessed there was a lot about him she didn't know--and a lot she wanted to.
