"I just don't get angry. It weirds some people out, but I have never really had a reason to get mad at anyone. I mean sure people have insulted me, call me names like everyone else. But, those things just don't bother me. I mean they are only doing it to get you upset, so why take it seriously?" She asked as she looked to the other girl.
"Okay breakfast it is! But you have to pick where, I haven't traveled that far off campus and I am not in the mood for cafeteria food again." She said smiling at the other girl. "We can cool down by walking there."
"But this guy is in collage, how much more free can you get. Maybe you are right, but you can't really ask a guy like that if he is gay. Much too sensitive, and if he's not. Then I have just blown all chances I had with him.
She laughed and nodded. "I think that is another reason my parents wanted to keep me on our island. They know what Sirens my age are like and they want to keep me around all siren men." She said with a laugh and a smile. She didn't seem put out by the girl comment at all.
"Yeah, mostly. He is still kind of distant in our e-mails to each other. But things are a lot better then they were." She said trying to think of something else to talk about.
"Don't get me wrong. My rents are pretty cool, they just get a little.. nervous sometimes." She said with a smile. "They are working on it..."
"Well that is the problem, these boys think they have fallen in love with me, and sure I like them a lot and I wouldn't at all mind having sex with them, but I don't love them back." She said with a frown at the thought of some hearts she hadn't meant to trample on.
"I think I will be fine. I mean he was absolutely adorable standing there in his boxers. With his hair all messy. To tell you the truth, I just need to remember not to try and visit him before noon ever again." She said, she had made a mental note that many of the others did not get up as early as here unless they had to.
"Sounds like a plan. I mean at least push him away if you are not going to make him cry in pain." She giggled, she was giving this advice, but it was not something she could see herself doing.
Kay frowned and nodded slowly. "Well then maybe you should apologize to him, to make your self feel better. I could care less about him, but if it is upsetting you, then you should do something about it."
Kay frowned in disappointment. "Okay, I wouldn't want to force you are anything. I just need to go. I am starting to get a little freaked out from not being able to hear the ocean." She blushed a bit. "It is a weird thing I have, growing up on an island."
"It is all up to you. Only place I can get to off campus is the liquor store... don't ask." She said with a laugh.
