The demon figured the woman could tell what she was if she was so familiar with supernatural races, so she didn't feel the need to explain. She dragged her brushes across the coil filled with paint thinner, cleaning them. "I have contained my own studies to art, although I believe that I will be expanding them soon." Art could only be studied so much.
"Are you staying on campus?" Isabelle stayed in a small house near a cemetery off campus. She'd lived on campus the first ten years or so that she'd taught at Alden, but after a while being around so many people had been too much and she'd moved to a more secluded spot. "I wish I could take credit for the University, but that's all Henry. He keeps it running smoothly." She collapsed her easel and packed everything into her art box.
"I haven't been to India, but I have seen pictures. They are nice, but this one is closer." She smiled and hefted everything into her hands and arms, the painting dangling off of one finger. "I was going to head back to my office. Have you been assigned an office yet?"
