Jacob did not like the summer. More specifically, he didn't like the sun that came with mid to late summer. It made him so tired and listless. He was drinking funky coffee drinks like they were going out of style and it probably wasn't a good thing. Besides it just made him more thirsty some times and not for anything that would come from a corner stand either. At least the night time re-energised him; he did prefer the evenings and night more than anything. It was one of the reasons the loved winter.
He wished he'd been able to stay visiting his mom and cousins more. It had been a wonderful time. Despite things, his family was very important to him. But he was auditing a couple summer classes and needed to get back. His first year was behind him and he had a feeling his sophomore year was going to be even more difficult. But he liked school and loved writing and was getting to do both. Jacob wasn't the greatest one to study but he did love learning.
He took a short cut through the parking lot and was heading into the main part of the campus of Alden University. He was surprised to see even the small amount of vehicles in the lot; there were more people around that he thought there would be.
Well more if count a Vespa as a vehicle; Jacob would have to ponder that. Though he was more than distracted by WHO was driving it more than anything. Now that, was a pretty boy, he thought to himself but shook his head. That was the kind of distraction that would make him wonder where weekends disappeared to. Bad.
"'lo," he said, his voice still clipped with the soft English accent. His mum would kill him if he was rude so saying hello, not being rude. It was all good.
