The breeze felt good against her skin as she listened to the sounds of the lead tracing over the once blank page that was now quickly filling with a picture that she couldn't really describe yet. While she didn't know what it was exactly she was drawing, she had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that she somewhere inside knew what she was making. The pencil made, first, a crescent shape but as she turned it into a circle, she pressed down a little harder to darken the shading. Then she drew a strong line for the jaw and it was then she realized she'd drawn a pair of eyes, staring intensely enough that she felt like if she could stare at them long enough, she'd be transported back to the night when she'd first looked into those eyes.
They were entrancing, and stole all of her attention until the sound of a voice close to her made her jump. Finally peeling away from the picture, she looked at the girl in front of her. She had her own beautiful set of almond shaped eyes and a smile that eased Raina's ball of nerves.
She looked at the cookies and then up at the girl. "Dannika," She repeats the name and looks up at the room she was pointing at. "I'm Raina." She offered. "I didn't realize I had been that loud. I'm sorry. I hope I didn't bother you." She decided to reach then and take up one of the offered cookies. "Thanks, they smell great." As she took a bite, Raina took another look at Dannika. Normally, she would just jump up when she realized what she was but it felt like she was a little foggy from the picture and the memories that haunted her. But there was something else. If Dannika was human, it was a shock that she hadn't heard the song and had a poor reaction to it like other humans. That's when she caught sight of the talisman around her neck. "Wow, that's beautiful. Where did you get it?"
