Hazel green eyes turned toward Dhivael as she cut a piece of the chicken in half and speared it on her fork. She took a bite and chewed before she answered the questions directed at her. "Yeah, I'm from the Everglades.... in Florida. You know where Florida is in relation to New Hampshire?"
Dhivael was right, she'd never heard of ch'Havran, but then Britta wasn't even close to being a scholar, and if she had been her focus would still be on the plant life, not what was in the sky. But she nodded anyway to make known that she understood the answer. "Must be really different there for you to come down here. What made you decide to come?"
"Yeah, we do have a little in common. The most important thing, really." She gave the siren a cheeky grin and speared another piece of chicken with a bit of pasta. "It's your voice you use to seduce, isn't it? Mine is mostly in my eyes and body language." She would talk happily about this with anyone who would listen. "Are you new to the school, Kay? I don't recall seeing you around here last year."
