He turned and at that same time hid the small box away behind his back. He wished he had pockets, or in the very least thought to have his wand handy to do a quick spell and charm it smaller or transfigure it briefly to something else. He stepped backward until his bare back and the hand tucked behind his arm touched the wrought iron balcony rail. His smile widened as he saw her and he extended his other hand, finger forming a crook to beckon her forward.
