Siri closed the door behind her and leaned against it. It had been a kriffing long day. She’d had a (fortunately) short bit of undercover work. Unfortunately that had involved an absolutely awful little bar that left her feeling... grimy. To a degree that was impressive; she had been in a lot of wretched hives of scum and villainy that made her feel less so. She smelled like beer and smoke, and the son of a gundark that she’d been undercover watching had started a bar fight. She’d taken a chair to the ribcage in the mess; nothing broken, thank the Force, but she still hurt.
She left a trail of clothes behind her on the way to the bathroom. She started the water running into the tub, pulling her hair up off her neck and securing it with a clip. There was a small basket of bath products sitting on a shelf in the bathroom; it had been a bit of a... frivolous purchase that she would never admit to anyone that she’d made. They were something... new, to try. And she was going to try one of the items tonight. Choosing a heavy, golden disc the size of her palm (something called a ‘bubble bar’), she broke it into the bathtub as the water began to fill up. It turned the water a shimmering gold, and began filling it with bubbles. The bathroom filled with the scent of oranges, and she slid off her underwear, dropping them to the tiled floor and slipping into the steaming hot water.
“Kriff...” she murmured softly, sinking down as deep as she could without submerging completely and resting her head against the curve of the bathtub as it met the wall. Closing her eyes, she tried to relax and let the warm water do its job.
