Absorbed in his examination of the books, Ukitake failed to notice one of the other library patrons had come close until she spoke up. He looked away from the books at her softly spoken apology, and smiled. "It's all right," he assured her. "You aren't interrupting at all. To be honest, I was delaying a little.
