What: Some more furniture shopping and making a new friend!
When: Wednesday evening
Where: Starting a coffee shop, then some furniture places around New Creandi
Warnings: Other than the possibility of Cosima coughing up blood at some point, should be low!
It was certainly fortunate that Cosima had found an apartment so she could focus on finding furniture and things to decorate it. It gave her something to focus on that wasn't Valentine's Day. Which seemed to be a big deal in this place. While Cosima was all for the day and enjoyed the spirit of love, even loved seeing couples enjoying the day together, this year she was more than a bit of a Scrooge about it. She wouldn't admit it, but she was depressed the closer to the 14th they came. She'd fallen in love in her own world when she knew she shouldn't have, but her faith in people blinded her to Delphine. And while she'd arrived here before she found out about Delphine's betrayal, she'd seen it on that television show she was from. It had been difficult for her to handle, and thus made it difficult to see all the Valentine's Day decorations in stores and hear classmates and co-workers discussing plans for their sweethearts the following Friday.
But she pushed all those thoughts and feelings aside to focus on happier things. She was meeting Tifa to go shopping for some furniture today. After she was done with her lab, Cosima headed back to the room she was currently renting to drop off her backpack before heading off to the coffee shop. She arrived a bit early, taking the opportunity to get herself a coffee. She then waited, keeping an eye open for Tifa as she pulled a list out. She'd found a couple things the previous day when she'd gone shopping with Joan, but she still needed more things. Cosima had pulled her dreadlocks back into her signature ponytail, so they were out of the way. They were more easily controlled this way.
