"And you're jus'super excited about it."

"Yeah... yeah, I really am."

The well-dressed, but unattractively balding man was now also wearing a bright, whole-hearted grin, staring into the fixed attention of a pair of sharp blue eyes. Pam was smiling also, but her expression was much more subtle. Also, a little snake-like. She'd been scouting locations and customer trends in this area for about two weeks straight, and this place held the most potential. The only hang-up was the fact that it was already owned. Needed a good amount of redecorating, too, but they'd deal with that later. For now, she was wrapping up another business meeting that had gone exceedingly well. They always did when she had that nifty trick of her kind's evolution.

"Good," she drolled, shifting weight from one perfect Jimmy Choo pump to the other. "Get the paperwork ready for signing on Monday."

The pub's owner nodded, turning to comply without further question and leaving the blond vampire to lean casually against the bar. The night was still young, and the more lively crowd hadn't made their way out quite yet; it left the place comfortably spacious for a short while.

"Can I get you something to drink, ma'am?" A skinny bartender with barely enough tits to be worth the look asked her. Pam smiled at her the same way she had the owner. May as well. She was feeling a little peckish, since discovering one in every ten or so bars here actually had True Blood - though no one seemed to have any idea how it got there. She pointed a manicured finger at the brown bottle with thick red substance inside the cooler.

"Make sure you heat it up, Princess," Pam added, smoothing back her hair as she got comfortable.

While everyone was proving willing to assist in Michonne's acclimatisation to the place, she'd opted to have her own excursion out of the castle and into the city that night. It wasn't difficult to navigate at all, Michonne had lived in cities and worked through deserted cities before coming the 'Make Believe', which meant it was more a case of getting her bearings than anything else.

A map in her head was all she was looking for.

Curiosity happened to get the better of her outside a bar; somewhat low key but with the air of a well frequented place. It wasn't the sort of thing Michonne would bother with return trips herself, but right then, she didn't mind it.

But a single drink would be fine and then Michonne could decide where to go next. As a bartender saw to her order, Michonne couldn't help but watch a female down the bar with a rather odd looking beverage herself.

Pam was a creature not only used to being watched, but keenly aware of every single time it happened. Seemed to happen a lot in this place, whenever she decided to slum it with a little True Blood. More so than in Shreveport, at least, after some time had passed following the great Reveal of her kind. That's the only thing she could really figure out about this world, and if she let it, it'd start to get under her skin and start to wriggle.

Easing her wine glass back down to the counter, Pam met the dark woman's eyes with a flat look and brows slightly arched in obvious expectancy.

"I'm outta your price range, Sweetheart." Pam's dark honey voice rolled from the back of her throat through a half-smile that contained zero warmth. "But lookin's free. Mostly."
