Padmé found that an apt and accurate description, not just for the child but for the pregnancy as a whole. Every time she started to get used to something, it changed or something new came up. It was a large case of unpredictability. It was both adventurous and downright terrifying, at times. "I must admit - the more I read, the more I watch about it... the less I feel I know. I know very few who have given birth before who are here, so it's a - relief to have someone I can ask." Carol was the other and, like Helena, Carol's daughter had passed away. Padmé didn't want to upset Carol by asking her details. It had been nice in the sense that no one was giving her parenting advice for the future, something that a number of the books and magazines warned would happen, but it did leave Padmé a bit afloat in a sea of information that came from text and movies.
"You're a famous author? That must be thrilling." Padmé did quite enjoy reading, though she had a time sitting and doing it for recreational purposes for an extended period of time. She had a hard time doing anything for an extended amount of time, though, when it came to recreation. She was a workaholic at core. "And I quite like it - though obviously I've had to... lessen some of my physical activities, for now. A good part of that is - extreme precaution. I'm not having the best time of that part, but it seems wise."
