It was like walking into another world. Which shouldn’t unnerve Anakin as he’d been on countless worlds in his time, experienced so many different cultures. But this store left him decidedly uncomfortable. It was possibly because this was a world he was meant to embrace, being an expecting father, so the store and all its merchandise within assaulted his senses with the force of entitlement. He was supposed to accept every display and buy what they were offering without question.
And yet, he had the distinct feeling something was off.
“Why are there only two primary colors?”
At the Temple, Anakin wasn’t given much latitude regarding his clothes. Jedi robes, with few color and fabric options. He’d assumed, based on Padmé’s grand array of styles and outfit options, outside the Temple was a different story.
But before them were two sections with different base colors, even within those sections accent colors seemed to be limited and, also, segregated.
His eyes shifted from one side of the store to the other. "And why are they separated?"
