Padmé was having a very event-filled few days. Leia had arrived, and now Anakin's Padawan Ahsoka Tano was here. Despite knowing about Ahsoka, and knowing that Anakin missed having his Padawan learner around, Padmé personally didn't know her. It didn't matter on some level; she knew she would like and care about Ahsoka and Ahsoka's well-being regardless. Still, there was a gap regarding experiences and some knowledge. Despite being aware of the "cartoons" about The Clone Wars, Padmé knew the "fictional" portrayal of their lives could and would only convey so many details.

After responding to Anakin's comment asking her to keep Ahsoka out of trouble, Padmé looked around to double-check that there really wasn't anything that could lead to trouble. Her blaster, and her grappling gun, were both securely put away in their bedroom. She hadn't wanted to leave either out for easy access by Anakin's younger self.

The only thing around that might cause any fuss was Sonya, Padmé's cat, and she wasn't sure how the generally shy cat could cause problems. Still, she had scooped the pet up and was holding it when she heard a knock at the door. "Come in, Ahsoka! The door is open."
