Ariadne smiled a little as the ornaments started singing, like Regulus had his very own backup chorus. "It is very pretty here. I feel like I've stepped into a movie." The castle being blanketed in snow felt like - well, the Harry Potter movies. But she wouldn't suggest that to Regulus, of course. She didn't know how much this version knew about his fictional nature.

In response to his question, she shrugged, face falling back into the set and blank expression she was relying on these days. "It was the end of January when I left Colligo, so we just had Christmas. Hard to be excited when it only feels like a couple months since the last time, you know? Plus I used up all my ideas for presents." And who did she even have to get presents for when she wasn't sure of where she stood with pretty much anybody? Maybe she'd just hook candy canes on their doorknobs.
