Who: Padmé and Anakin What: Anakin’s figured out this date thing, maybe. Who knows When: Friday evening Where: The Zoo, because Padmé wanted to go there Rating/Warnings: Probs low and full of fluff Status: In progress/closed
It was a cold, crisp night, but thankfully it was free of any kind of precipitation, liquid or that colder more solid, white state. It meant that, as they walked from one animal enclosure to the next Anakin and Padmé only had to contend with a sharp breeze every now and then. Jackets were sufficient.
Anakin wasn’t too sold on the idea of a zoo, the caged animals brought to mind his first experiences in life. But as far as he could tell, the animals weren’t being maltreated. And Padmé was clearly enjoying seeing the creatures this planet boasted. Even if he suspected they were actually Earth animals. Her amusement was a clear indication he’d planned and executed this date successfully.
They stopped before an enclosure of feline-esque animals with curious orange and black stripe colorations. A bit too late Anakin realized how looking upon these wild cats would remind Padmé of their most recent disagreement regarding the acquisition of a pet.
“These ones are called tigers,” he said reading from the display. He cast a sidelong glance at her to judge her demeanor, just waiting for the offending subject to be brought up again.
