Padmé Amidala Skywalker ([info]i_cannot_follow) wrote in [info]makebelievelog,
Padmé took this opportunity to move around a little, stretching, moving slowly but moving all the same. She figured the distance while not hiding meant she had some approval. Perhaps not a good deal, but hopefully enough.

It was along that mentality that she shifted enough to pull the phone out of her pocket to use the local version of the holonet. The internet, was it? "How to make friends with a cat" was typed in and, after a few sites with basic tips what not to do (Why would she pull a cat's tail, pet it when its ears were back and it was hissing, or rub it until sparks flew?) she found an idea that did work.

She slowly stood and excused herself to the bedroom. She gave the cat a very wide birth, not to disturb the unusual looking cleaning session, but returned (still walking slowly) a few minutes later. She had a robe sash with her, pulled out of her robe, as well as shoelaces. The shoelaces were tucked in her pocket, her personal preference for something notably physically longer. Giving a slightly less wide birth, Padmé slowly went by the cat with the robe tie dragging along on the ground after her.
