Padmé indicated toward the kitchen with her hand, once their handshake was broken, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Myka. And we may as well continue our trek. If you hope to get back to sleep, it's hardly fair of me to keep you occupied in the halls, is it?"
Her tone was a bit joking, despite her own tired feeling. She hoped the rest of the weekend would go more smoothly. Everyone needed a break at this point, really. Still, not one for awkward silences and hoping to have a pleasant social conversation, Padmé asked the first thing to come to mind, "I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you new here, then, or have we simply not crossed paths before? I must admit, I haven't been able to get as much socializing done as I would've liked. I've been rather preoccupied with learning the culture, as there are some rather distinct differences compared to where I'm from before arriving here."
