Myka just stood and listened as Claudia rambled on about what she'd discovered when she and Helena had gone out shopping. As long as she had known the young woman she'd always had an eclectic taste. When Claudia began to look at the books near her, Myka's eyebrow rose. They weren't exactly in a section of the library that she expected to find the younger agent. Then her eyes took note of everything that Claudia was carrying and she was intrigued. Just what was the tech wizard doing in the library of all places? "Claudia, are you researching something?"
Her eyes rolled at the look on the girls face and what she said. There was no way she was revisiting her feverish texts. It was bad enough that she would have the memory of them forever. Not speaking about them was the best way to move forward. At least for the time being. "Nice try, Devil Child. I will not be sharing the end of the story with you. And don't think I'm going to forget how you kept edging me on."
