Myka hadn't been browsing the books on the shelves for that long when she heard someone approaching. Usually no one bothered her when she was in the library and she hoped that today of all days they would continue on. When she heard Claudia's voice she slowly turned around and then stared. A look of confusion settled on her face. If she was honest with herself she wasn't entirely sure the fever hadn't returned. Claudia stood before her with sequin covered devil horns. The shine that they created did nothing to help matters. Blinking she stood there looking like a complete idiot with her one hand still resting on a book.
She opened her mouth a few times, in a clear impersonation of a fish, before shutting it. Clearly no words were going to come out at the moment. Taking her hand off the book she cautiously began moving closer to the figure in front of her. Once she was close enough Myka took her hand and poked at Claudia to see if she was solid. When her hand came into contact with a solid mass she sighed and then flicked at the devil horns before turning away. As she turned away she muttered, "devil child" which brought to her mind telling Claudia about the dragons and how one nearly scorched her. From there memories continued to flow in of what she'd said to Helena. Using Christina had been a low blow and one she was going to pay dearly for. Groaning she turned back to the bookshelves before answering Claudia's questions.
"Honestly? No, I'm not." Myka said really wishing that she could bang her head against the books. But doing that would just make her feel worse so she refrained from doing so. "Helena left me a note telling me I had two hours of freedom."
