Anakin, the younger, blinked at H. G. while he was deciding how to answer her. Luke came to the workshop, Master Obi-Wan from time to time if he was looking for one of them. Sometimes even Padmé, but those were rarer still as she recognized the space as something both Anakins needed and was willing to give them wide berth to use it as they saw fit, even if she would have loved to place everything in neat drawers and boxes. A new person was an anomaly.
One he was willing to accept, however.
He smiled back when the woman smiled at him. But didn’t immediately know what she meant when she inquired about his friend until R2-D2 wheeled back and pointedly bumped into his legs again, by way of demanding an introduction.
“Oh,” Ani said, he looked behind him at the blue and white droid (or what was now a twig and mud brown smeared droid). He stepped to the side to let H. G. have a better look at R2. The droid rolled forward a bit, pleased with the spot light. “This is Artoo-Deetoo. He’s an astromech droid.”
R2-D2 twittered a happy greeting, or at least it sounded like one.
Ani's brow creased together as he watched H. G., and if one were paying attention they would be able to see the 'Who are you' and the 'What are you doing' questions evident in his expression. But he held back, as he was sure those would be rude questions to ask. "Are... you here to help him with something?" That sounded like a good way to start.
