As Helena was still clueless as to what Star Wars even was, she was just as clueless to the fact that Anakin could sense her emotions. If she'd known that, she probably would have either not come today, or had a different approach to controlling her emotions. While she was an expert at keeping her emotions hidden just far enough beneath the surface that most people wouldn't even bother to look past what she outwardly expressed, Helena wasn't exactly good at dealing with her emotions. At least not her negative ones. She was easily ruled by them if she didn't actively fight against them. Right now they weren't controlling her, but they were there, churning under the surface. This was why she needed something to keep her hands and mind busy and distracted. This was why she couldn't be alone right now.
If there was one thing that Helena feared above all else, it was being alone. Alone was when her emotions got the best of her. Alone was when she was afraid. Being isolated from people, be it by her own choice or forced upon her, was when things overtook her, just as her hate and anger had mutated and festered and controlled her while she'd been Bronzed. It was for this precise reason that in the Warehouse 13 television show, Helena was greatly bothered by the fact she was out there utterly alone in the world. Mrs. Frederic had charged her with keeping the Astrolabe safe, and while the version of herself in the show obviously didn't like it, she still did it to keep everyone else safe. It was something that didn't sit well with Helena, though she tried not to think about it.
As such, she began gathering various parts that most would think would never go together in any sense. She had said she wanted to give her mind a puzzle to work out, and she was doing just that. Having found some sort of space, Helena decided to take that for her workspace, placing the parts she chose there. She was, however, halted in this matter when a young man and a robot entered. As such, Helena watched the scene curiously, pausing with part of a circuit board in her hand. There was a bemused smile on her lips upon hearing about the lake. When the older Anakin introduced her to the boy, she looked to the boy for some moments, then to the older Anakin, then back again. It didn't take much to work out that this boy was a younger version of Anakin himself. Now that was something she didn't expect.
"Hello Anakin, it's a pleasure to meet you," she greeted with a warm smile. She was always good with children, a trait that she'd always had. She loved them, as was evidenced by the way she held her daughter's memory close to her. "And who is your friend?" She asked the younger Anakin, motioning towards the robot.
