Padmé paused in figuring out how to respond to the question, as it was a loaded question in some aspects. She knew her relationship with Anakin wasn't necessarily a normal relationship, or she didn't imagine it to be so, since it felt so special to her; any romantic interests from the past paled in comparison.

"It's not a mission, Anakin. It's - hard to explain; there's no set of specifications that I expect. Maybe I can plan a date or two and we can go on them, then we can discuss anything if you find aspects confusing?" It was the most diplomatic solution she could think of in that moment.
