Helena Wells-Quinzel is H.G. Wells ([info]indelibleink) wrote in [info]makebelievelog,
In the week she'd been in this place, Helena had all ready experienced a lot, mostly in the way of emotions and discovering things about what happened in the future back home. As such, she hadn't slept overly much in that week. A couple hours here, a couple there, but never longer than that. She was haunted by those final images she'd seen play out in the Warehouse. Then again when one suffered a violent and traumatic death as she had, it was to be expected. Except for the part where one wasn't supposed to live to relive those sorts of things, but there it was.

She'd enjoyed the jaunt into the city, even though she'd gone off on her own. Helena had just wanted some time to explore the city and try to let some things settle within her mind. The fresh air had done her some good, and she'd eventually found her way back to the castle, when she was ready to. Even with the rejuvenation the jaunt in the city had given her, Helena had immediately retreated to her rooms and set about writing again. Writing had always been the best way for her to channel her emotions and thoughts. The things that had fueled The War of the Worlds were far darker than anyone would ever know. Well, no doubt Myka might know, and the other Warehouse agents might have a guess, but other than that the things that had created that story were unknown to the world.

So when claudia had come to fetch her, Helena wasn't exactly feeling up to being social. She wanted to write, was that really so bad? But the redhead hadn't taken no for an answer, so taking long enough to brush her hair and make herself look remotely presentable, she went off with Claudia, only really half interested in what Claudia was dragging her into. She glanced at the stables, just taking it in. Though as Claudia called out "Skywalker" Helena glanced at her, arching an eyebrow. That was an interesting name, so to speak. Though what was this person doing out here in the stables? And why was Claudia so insistent she come? She was perfectly fine in her room writing, thank you very much.
