Walter Sykes had taken away two of the things that gave her life meaning and purpose. In Egypt she had learned that the Warehouse was her happiest place on earth. Gathering and cataloguing artifacts was rewarding even with the few close encounters they'd had. Sykes had also taken Helena away from her. His anger had driven him to leave a bomb in the Warehouse. Sure, he had been defeated and Pete's mother, Jane, having gotten to safety. But they had been unable to diffuse the bomb and the Warehouse was destroyed. As she let go of her hatred for Sykes and allowed forgiveness to settle in her heart her tears and sobs began to slow. With the most of the anger gone her heart was beginning to feel whole again. But it would never be whole unless she let go of one final thing. Myka had to let go of her anger at Helena's noble sacrifice or else she would never find a complete peace of mind. With Helena's arms around her, tears continuing to slowly fall down her cheek, Myka released the one final piece holding her back. In her heart she screamed to the heavens that she forgave Helena for everything.
In that moment with her heart full of joy and free of burdens Myka smiled into Helena's shoulder. It had only taken being encased in a comforting embrace for her battered heart and soul to become whole again. For the first time in a long time she felt love soaring inside of her lifting her to new heights. "Love" Myka was so caught up in the new feelings within her that she didn't realize that she had said it out loud.
