Claudia Donovan ([info]clauds) wrote in [info]makebelievelog,
"Pete and I watch weekly, like I said. We skip dinner and then have pizza, breadsticks, and occasionally a calzone to try and lessen - things." And anyone who knew Pete and his tendency toward food knew that Claudia's statement made perfect sense. Not that the techie objected to the once a week bout of greasy food; pizza was a comfort food, if anything. "You could come, or I can give you the details later or - keep things vague until they quit doing mean and evil cliffhanger type hints. Because we both know details with the Warehouse are never clear and - put that into editing for a TV show where their goal is to get you to tune in next week." They hadn't even told the detail of where H.G. was for ages; that had been less than thrilling to Claudia, despite her having a good instinct that H.G. had to be okay somewhere.

"It seems that way." Claudia said after a moment, trying to think how to explain the time aspect to someone who knew far more than her on the subject. In the end, the best way she could think to sum it up was by giving the basic details as well as she could. "If any time passes between us being here and returning, once we get home, it's so momentary that it doesn't register. That combined with the dream status of this place makes it seem like... nothing. So it's a lot of 'it counts for now' sort of stuff here."
