Timelines, dimensions, planets, it all sounded like something out of a science fiction novel. When Claudia sat down on the couch she chose to remain standing and pace around the room. There was too much pent up energy inside her body for her to sit calmly and hear the explanation. Having finished the first twizzler she had taken out of the bag Myka grabbed another one tapping it against her lips. She nodded her head. It was the most logical explanation and had she been thinking more clearly she might have thought of that possibility.
Myka let out a small laugh at Artie arriving and being older than they knew him to be. The thought was absurd. No doubt he would be the same. "No matter how old he gets he will still be the same old Artie." He'd probably just wind up grumpier than she'd remember him to be.
A look of confusion and disbelief came across her face at Claudia's next statement. The absurdity of what her friend was saying was off the charts. Sure they'd seen some pretty crazy stuff as a result of the Warehouse but to be amongst characters from fiction was a sensory overload. Myka stopped pacing and walked over to the chair sitting down remaining silent and processing everything. I can do this she thought letting out a sigh. So long as she didn't run into Alice Liddell things might not be so bad. With one hand clutching the bag of twizzler's the other dropped the twizzler she was holding and reached up and began to finger the locket around her neck. In other instances she might think that Claudia was playing a practical joke on her but she'd been serious from the moment she had been pulled into the room. With her hand still fingering the locket she looked up at Claudia and said, "Tesla practice with Thor, huh? Not everyday that you hear that one."
