"Okay, first, this place exists on a timeline outside of ours. I was pulled here once before for four months, then went home. If any time passed, really, it felt like the blink of an eye and I didn't know it had passed. Bad dream, bad daydream - whatever my memories of being in this dimension were, I forgot them like they were nothing. Life just went on." Claudia explained, moving over to Myka's couch and proceeding to flop down on it so she could sit while talking through the details. Between the rest of the couch, the nearby chair, and general furniture in all of the rooms, Myka had more than enough places she could sit herself or she could pace. Claudia certainly wasn't going to try and dictate that to Myka and, after the Warehouse exploded, she figured there might be a bit of adrenaline to contend with anyhow.
"Second, because of that, not everyone here is taking from the same exact spots in time. I could be from before you or after you. Pete could be from before or after you. If Artie showed up, impossibility factor set aside, he could actually be older!" She tossed a joke in, hoping it would lighten Myka's mood. "This place seems to be another planet, another dimension, another timeline. Some people here are -"
This was the hard part. Claudia crinkled her nose up and made a bit of a face, not sure how to explain it. "Well, some people here are the subject of 'fiction' works back home. Like - I've kicked it with Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars, I've seen Spock walking around, Harry Potter is here... I did TESLA practice with Thor, where he used his hammer to knock the bolts away."
